LOS ANGELES– June 21, 2016 – It will be a sizzling summer for host and executive producer Gaby Natale, as she gets ready to receive the Trailblazer Award at the NALIP Media Summit in Hollywood June 23-26.
Natale, who just won two Daytime EMMY awards last May, will be honored by the National Association of Latino Independent Producers for her contributions in the field of TV and digital content production.
Natale will be the featured speaker in the NALIP Diverse Women in Media Forum, where she will discuss her path to becoming the first Latina to win 2 Daytime EMMYs in one night in the Spanish-language categories.
The event will be moderated by Ana Flores, founder and president of Latina Bloggers Connect. This panel will focus on NALIP’s efforts to champion, support and effectively empower women via the Diverse Women in Media initiative.
“It means the world to me and my team to receive this award, because it comes from the people we respect the most: our colleagues and peers in the media industry. At the same time, it is an opportunity to showcase not only the way in which Latinos and Latinas are changing the industry and the country, but also to remind everyone that much works needs to be done to make sure that our society and our industry are true to the ideals of inclusiveness and diversity that make us strong”, Natale said.
The 2016 edition of the NALIP Media Summit invites all content creators to discuss the accomplishments and innovations of this exciting and ever changing industry.
This year’s speakers include legendary performer Rita Moreno, HBO’s President Len Amato, President of Content and Television of Grupo Televisa José Bastón, Endemol Shine CEO Cris Abrego, and Oscar-winning director Juan Jose Campanella.
