My ‘divine’ and unforgettable red carpet coverage #JFFrizzease

What an enjoyable time I had a couple of weeks ago in Miami as John Frieda’s red carpet correspondent at TVyNovelas´s #DivinasyHumanas event.

Más lindo no la pude pasar hace un par de semanas en Miami, donde fui corresponsal de John Frieda en la alfombra roja del evento #DivinasyHumanas de la revista TVyNovelas.

The day before, I interviewed TV host and former beauty queen Alejandra Espinoza. She opened her heart to “SuperLatina” and shared from beauty tips to the painful experiences of suffering three miscarriages, something she recently made public.

Un día antes de la gala, tuve el placer de entrevistar a Alejandra Espinoza, quien abrió su corazón para SuperLatina y compartió desde tips de belleza hasta lo difícil que ha sido superar la pérdida de tres embarazos, algo que apenas se decidió a compartir con su público.

We chatted again at the red carpet and Ale was all smiles while remembering her beauty contests stories.

En la alfombra roja nos volvimos a encontrar y Ale fue toda risas al recordar sus historias en concursos de belleza.

Maria Elena Salinas, one of the honorees, talked about how TV industry is still a sexist business. However, after 20 years as Univision’s newscast, she is convinced that women in media do not have an “expiration date”.

María Elena Salinas, una de las homenajeadas, confesó que la televisión sigue siendo un medio machista. Sin embargo, tras 20 años al frente del noticiero de Univisión, está convencida que las mujeres en los medios no tienen “fecha de expiración”.

Rashel Diaz’s smile irradiates authenticity and happiness. It is hard to believe that years ago this TV personality slept on the floor and cleaned houses after arriving from her native Cuba. She now proudly shares her “against all odds” story.

El premio a los ojos más bonitos se lo llevó Carmen Dominicci. Hace unos años, la presentadora de “Al Rojo Vivo” fue víctima de violencia doméstica y decidió compartir su experiencia para ayudar a otras mujeres.

“La Venenosa” Carolina Sandoval made her mark at the red carpet by arriving with her cute daughter Barbara Camila in matching outfits.

“La Venenosa” Carolina Sandoval robó cámara al llegar con su preciosa hija Bárbara Camila, quien vestida igual que mami lucía como una “Venenosita” lista para comentar el chisme del día.

Pamela Silva Conde said that being in front of a camera makes her feel “divine”. She also remembered how pressured she felt when she was named “Primer Impacto”’s main anchor, not only for the big responsibility it was, but because her husband was Univision´s president at that time.

Además de confesar que el momento en que se siente más divina es frente a la cámara, Pamela Silva Conde me contó que cuando la nombraron conductora principal de “Primer Impacto” sufrió doble presión: primero, por el nivel de responsabilidad y segundo, porque al ser la esposa de César Conde, en ese entonces presidente de Univisión, no tenía margen de error.

Henry Santos enjoyed being around so many wonderful, beautiful and extraordinary women. The bachata singer said the most interesting curve of a woman is… her smile.

Henry Santos se sumó al festejo de las #DivinasyHumanas. El bachatero contó que la curva más interesante de una mujer es… la de su sonrisa.
