Join Us for the Orgullosa Together We Are Stronger Twitter Party #OrgullosaStrong

Did you know that one Latina dies of breast cancer every 90 minutes? The statistics are alarming. That’s why Orgullosa has launched the Together We Are Stronger initiative, which encourages Latinas to support one another in the early detection of breast cancer and to extend a hand to all the women in their lives and invite them to win the battle against breast cancer before it begins.

For the month of October, Orgullosa would like to rally the Latina community to show that Together We Are Stronger by giving the gift of early detection to those in need by liking the Orgullosa Facebook page as that triggers an automatic $1 donation, for every like received, to Liga Contra el Cancer.

Join Orgullosa and Latina Mom Bloggers on Thursday, October 23rd at 6pm PST/9pm EST for a Twitter party. We’ll be sharing early breast cancer detection tips and how to spread the word to all women because together we ARE stronger! Plus, have two very special guests! We’ll be joined by breast cancer survivor, Cyndi Garcia who will be sharing her story with us and Dr. Luis Villa, President of Liga Contra el Cancer who will be providing his expert medical opinion via the Orgullosa handle.
