Miami.- They say “less is more”, but when it comes to pack for a four-day conference full of activities it is hard to be practical and travel light. This year I was super excited with my attire choices for all the amazing events at Hispanicize. Dicen que “menos es más”, pero cuando se trata de empacar para una conferencia de cuatro días llena de actividades, es difícil ser práctica y viajar con poco equipaje. Este año, me encantaron los atuendos que elegí para todos los increíbles eventos de Hispanicize. Let’s talk business

The navy “Tamilara” pencil dress with its capped sleeves and above-the knee length was one of my top selections for my early morning business activities. Who says that business can’t be fun?  The sheer detailing near the skirt hem and shoulders create secondary modern focal points while the lady-like peplum provides a touch of femininity. To accessorize the ensemble, I chose a colorful statement necklace. Let’s not forget every girl’s obsession—shoes. These studded strappy stilettos were a great addition to the look.

A hacer negocios

Este vestido azul marino de corte recto a la altura de la rodilla fue una de mis principales selecciones para las actividades de trabajo por la mañana. ¿Quién dice que uno no se puede divertir a la hora de hacer negocios? El detalle transparente cerca del dobladillo y los hombros crean un punto visual extra y súper moderno, mientras que los mini-vuelos en la cintura dan un toque de feminidad. Como complemento, elegí un colorido y llamativo collar. Ah, y no olvidemos la obsesión de toda mujer: ¡zapatos! Estos stilettos de tiras fueron una gran adición al look.

A touch of color 

One of my favorite elements of fashion is color, and this look is a perfect example of bringing a little bit of the neon trend into my closet. Furthermore the prints on the front are subtle and allow for this fabulous fringe-style necklace. Staying in within the same color family is the secret to cohesion and balance for this look. Did I mention that I love the fit of this sheath dress?

Un toque de color

Vestirme de algún color es uno de mis fashion statements favoritos, y este vestido es un ejemplo perfecto. Los estampados al frente son bastante sutiles y me permitieron portar este fabuloso collar. El gran secreto es no salirse de la paleta de colores para conservar el balance y la cohesión de este look. Y qué decir de la silueta del vestido… ¡me encanta!

Minimalistic yet formal

The violet Askel dress was another of my day looks! The pleat detailing gives it a classic attitude while the mini v-neck and silver brooch call for minimalistic jewelry. This dress is a prime example of structure elements coming together in a balanced manner. This is a great choice if you wish to easily go from a day to night look. Add a pair of your favorite pumps and you are set to go!

Este vestido “Askel” violeta fue otro de mis looks de día. Los pliegues le dan un toque clásico, mientras que el cuello en V y el broche metálico dan el statement minimalista. Este vestido es un ejemplo perfecto del balance en el uso de los detalles. Una excelente elección si quieres ir del día a la noche sin cambiar atuendo. Agrega tus pumps favoritos ¡y listo!

Green fantasy

The red carpet is always a great time to bring on the glamour, and this time I decided to skip on the traditional dress and opted for this sexy jumpsuit. I had lots of fun rocking the wide leg trend and Emerald green was the perfect shade for my gold statement jewelry. The low-cut belt creates the perfect cinched waist while the halter-top neckline delivers a formal essence.

Fantasía en verde

La alfombra roja es LA oportunidad para mostrar todo el glamour, y esta ocasión decidí olvidarme del tradicional vestido para sustituirlo por este sexy jumpsuit. El corte amplio del pantalón y el color verde esmeralda fueron el marco perfecto para mis accesorios en dorado. El cinturón definió mi silueta y el cuello halter me dio el toque de formalidad que buscaba.
